Over 1500 database entries about revised Nintendo Switch carts to go along with them.
“Does it play?” has officially entered a collaboration with “Nintendo Revised”, a group dedicated to cataloging every piece of information about cartridge revisions for Nintendo Switch games.
While some of you might be aware that Nintendo Switch games receive occasional (and usually unannounced) reprints with updated carts holding additional content and/or recent patches, the scale and quality of these cartridge updates has been a mystery for most of the players out there.
For over eight months the “Nintendo Revised” group has been collecting invaluable information about this topic in their exclusive Facebook community. In the upcoming days and weeks we will work on integrating their fascinating findings into our website, bringing it to the wider public for the first time.
This Switch database covers games from major regions such as North America, Europe and Japan. It will show the most up to date revision known for each game as well as if additional downloads are available.
We constantly aim to improve the information we provide about the games that you love. “Does it play?” and “Nintendo Revised” joining forces is a natural fit and the logical next step in both our game preservation efforts. We will continue to develop our work and seek opportunities to expand what we do.
